Privacy Policy

We collect only the information needed to provide care coordination features:

• Account information: name, email address and login credentials handled through Firebase Authentication.
• Senior profile data: name, age, gender, blood group, known conditions and care-related details that you choose to enter.
• Care data: medicine schedules, medicine dose logs with given/missed/skipped status, vitals such as BP and sugar readings, daily check-ins, emergency contacts, timeline/activity records, and family caregiver information.
• Family circle data: information about caregivers you invite into a shared family care circle.

Information is used to:

• Provide care coordination, medicine reminders and family sync.
• Maintain a care timeline and safety check-ins.
• Operate and secure your account and login sessions.
• Improve reliability and user experience of the App.

CareKutumb is built around a family circle. Care data such as medicine logs, vitals, timeline entries, check-ins and caregiver actions may be visible to invited family members within the same family circle so that the family can coordinate care together.

CareKutumb uses Firebase services from Google, including Firebase Authentication for login and Cloud Firestore for data synchronization across family members. These services process data according to Google's privacy and security practices.

In the current version (V1), any health reports or files you add are stored locally on your device only, unless cloud backup is explicitly introduced in a future version and you opt in.

You can request deletion of your CareKutumb account and associated personal data at any time through our Delete Account page. Where deletion would affect care records shared with other family members, we may anonymize your identity while preserving essential shared care history.

CareKutumb is not intended for use by children. The App is designed for adult family members coordinating care for senior relatives.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information through industry-standard authentication and secure data transmission. No service, however, can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
